Accountants who file for adult performers, attorneys who advise on record-keeping, creator educators, and agencies managing talent all end up in the same conversation: somebody has just worked out that they need a Custodian of Records, and they do not know what to do next.
The partner program pays you for the recommendation you were already making.
What it pays
25% of every payment, with no expiry date. That is not a first-payment bounty and it is not a twelve-month window. If someone signs up through your link and pays us for three years, you earn a quarter of every one of those payments for three years.
Referrals are tracked first-click for 30 days, so a person who reads your post today and signs up next week is still attributed to you.
Commission becomes payable once your balance reaches $50.
What you actually have to do
Share a link.
Attribution is link-based, so there is nothing for the person you referred to remember, type, or get wrong at checkout. They click, they sign up, the commission attaches to your account. There is no code for them to lose.
How you join
Four steps, and the order matters because one of them catches people out:
- Apply at easy2257.com/partner/signup.
- Verify your email address.
- We review the application. Approval is manual, done by a person.
- Your account becomes active, and your referral link starts earning.
Only an active account earns, which is exactly why the link is not handed over before approval. A link shared while an application is still in review does not attach a commission to anything. We would rather say that plainly than let somebody spend a week promoting a link that pays nothing.
Approval being manual is a deliberate cost we carry. This is a compliance product for an industry where who vouches for whom matters, and an open door would make the referral signal worthless.
The ID check that does not apply to most partners
Easy2257 verifies identity for a living, so it would be strange if we never verified our own partners. For a while that check sat in front of activation for everybody, including people who only ever wanted to share a link.
It no longer does. Identity verification now gates the first live API key, not the referral link.
If you are recommending Easy2257 to an audience, you will never meet it. If you are a platform integrating the Partner API to create records programmatically, you will, because at that point you are handling other people's compliance data and asking who you are is the right thing to do.
What you are recommending
Worth knowing before you put your name to it. A producer or creator who signs up gets:
- A Custodian of Records under 28 CFR Part 75, so our address goes on the 2257 statement instead of their home address.
- Identity verification performed by us, with document authentication and facial comparison on scene plans.
- The cross-reference index required by 28 CFR 75.2(a)(2) and (a)(3), generated as scenes close rather than assembled by hand.
- Performer-signed model releases and a depicted-person removal portal, which are card-network obligations under Mastercard AN 5196 and the Visa Integrity Risk Program rather than federal ones, on every plan.
- Monthly acquirer compliance reports on Producer plans and up.
The card-network side is usually the part that makes someone act. A federal inspection is a tail risk. A payment processor asking for documented consent is a Tuesday, and it can stop their income this month.
