Under 18 U.S.C. § 2257, every producer of sexually explicit content must designate a Custodian of Records responsible for maintaining and producing compliance records on demand. The COR's name and address must appear on every piece of content. Easy2257 serves as your designated COR on every plan, eliminating the need for a physical records office.

Without a COR, you'd need to maintain a physical records office during business hours, staffed by someone who can produce records on demand. That typically means renting office space ($2-5k/mo) or using your home address (safety risk). Easy2257 replaces all of that. COR service is included with every plan, even per-scene purchases.

Each plan includes a set number of ID verifications per scene: Per Scene and Producer plans include up to 4, Studio includes up to 6, and Enterprise includes up to 8. Most scenes involve 2-4 people. Returning talent who were verified in a previous scene skip re-verification automatically, and their existing verification carries over.

Talent receives an invite link, uploads front and back of their government-issued photo ID, and takes a selfie. Our system performs document authentication and facial comparison to verify identity. This bank-grade verification protects you against fraudulent IDs. Solo creators self-verify instead: guided ID document capture with a recorded attestation, no invite needed.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Plans renew automatically until you cancel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and your first payment is refundable on request. Note that as your Custodian of Records, canceling means you'll need to designate a new COR or self-manage your records. Your existing compliance records remain accessible for download during a transition period.

We store government IDs and personal information encrypted in transit and at rest on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, with a second layer of application-level encryption on the most sensitive fields, identification numbers and dates of birth. Every stored record carries a SHA-256 integrity hash, so you can prove a file has not been altered since it was filed, and access controls and audit logging cover every retrieval. Records are retained for the full 7 years the regulation requires.
